Mr. James Nevins, an advisor with Navont Benefit Advisors, will be joining us on Wednesday January 15th to help us kick off the new year in our new location! He's going to share the latest in health insurance benefits, teaching us about Being a SMART Consumer of Heathcare: Saving Money and Recognizing Trends. He’ll cover, how to read your medical bill, what trends to watch, and how to save money in the process.
James graduated from Missouri State after serving a tour of duty in Afghanistan with the United States Army. He worked for over 10 years as a Human Resources specialist and worked as a benefits advisors for 8 years until founding an independent brokerage firm in 2018. With special certifications in the areas of self-funding and compliance, James has acted as a presenter to various professional organizations including the Society of Human Resource Management and the National Association of Health Underwriters. James has also created several association benefit plans within Missouri to include the Missouri Business Alliance.
Come join us for this lunch, learn, and networking event. We'll be using this as our inaugural meeting for the new location: the eFactory at 405 N Jefferson in downtown Springfield!. Since many of you will be new to the eFactory...here's the skinny on parking: we believe the visitor lot in the front of the building will hold us. However: there are 3 lots available for parking, without permits:
1) The visitor lot right in front of the building on Jefferson Street;
2) The Blue Lot located on the northeast corner of Jefferson and Phelps Street; and
3) The Rainbow Lot located off of Boonville, near water street. This lot is west of the e-factory building.
All attendees will receive 1 CPE credit. The cost of the meal is $10 for members, $20 for non-members, 1st time guests are free. Payment will be accepted at the door.
